IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC GUSTS OF NE WIND
STRENGTHENING TO 40-65, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL TO 70-90 KNOTS. IN THE
REST OF THE ADRIATIC GUSTS OF SE and E WIND STRENGTHENING TO 45-65
KNOTS. SEA INCREASING TILL THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT TO
5-6, POSSIBLY TO 6-7. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT AND
TOMORROW.
SYNOPSIS
A deep low west of Sardinia is moving toward the Tyrrhenian Sea and it
is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind
strengthening to 20-35, in the Velebit Channel up to 55 knots. In the
rest of the Adriatic SE and E wind strengthening to 20-40 knots. Sea
3-4, increasing to 5-6, possibly to 6-7. Visibility 10-20, in places
with precipitation 1-2 km. Cloudy with rain and with a risk of thunder
in the open and during the night along the coast, in the North and in a
part of the Central Adriatic with a risk of snow.

Cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of
the Central Adriatic with a risk of snow. In the North and in a part of
the Central Adriatic strong and gale force, in places up to storm force
NE, elsewhere gale force SE and E wind, slowly diminishing in the
second part of the day and turning during the night to SW wind. Sea
very rough and high, late in the day rough. In the North and in a part
of the Central Adriatic rather cold and cold, elsewhere a little warmer.
