Traffic and road conditions

Throughout Croatia traffic is heavy.
At the paytolls Lucko in direction Zagreb the queue is 4 km long.
On A1 motorway at the tunnel Sveti Rok there is a 1-km-long queue.
Delays occur also on the Adriatic coast near tourist centres.

Rijeka access road is occasionally being closed for traffic for about 45 min. on the part Orehovica-Diracje. Detour: Rijeka local roads. Mostly it is closed from 5 am till 5:45 am, 1 pm till 1:45 pm and from 9 pm till 9:45 pm.
From Škurinje towards Orehovica it is closed every night from 10 pm till 5 am, while in the other direction traffic is proceeding freely.

D 27 state road Karin-Benkovac is closed for traffic. Detour: Obrovac-Karin-Smilcic-Biljane Gornje-Benkovac.

Count with delays in the roadwork areas!

Roadworks in progress:
- on the state road D2 Varaždin-Osijek - till December 17 there is a traffic ban on freight vehicles with more than 7,5 t or those longer than 14 m.
- on the A 2 motorway Zagreb-Macelj, between the knots Krapina and Đurmanec in direction border crossing Macelj - only one lane is free.
- on the A2 motorway Zagreb-Macelj, between the knots Jankomir and Zaprešic.
- on the state road D 309 Samobor-Sveta Nedelja, which is closed for traffic till further notice.
Detour from direction Zagreb towards Samobor+ detour from direction Bregana towards Sveta Nedelja:
• A 3 motorway to the knot Bobovica in direction Samobor/Sveta Nedjelja
• A 3 motorway to the knot Sveta Nedelja-highway to Strmac Samoborski-Samobor.
- on A6 motorway Rijeka-Zagreb, section knot Ravna Gora-knot Vrata, till July 25.
- on the island Krk: state road D102, between the places Njivice and Malinska.
- on the D8 Adriatic road, in the area of Dubrovnik - sections: Zaton Doli-Dol, Trsteno-Zaton Veliki.

The bridge Tisno on the island Murter closes for traffic for 30 minutes every day at 9 am and 5 pm till September 1.

Ferry traffic

Ferries operate regularly.
Traffic is increased in the ferry ports: Jablanac, Prizna, Valbiska, Brestova, Zadar and Split.
