Traffic and road conditions

On the roads leading to the coast and viceversa traffic is flowing without difficulties.
During the day delays may occur near tourist centres - on D8 Adriatic road and in Istria.

Rijeka access road is occasionally being closed for traffic for about 45 min. on the part Orehovica-Diracje. Detour: Rijeka local roads. Mostly it is closed from 5 am till 5:45 am, 1 pm till 1:45 pm and from 9 pm till 9:45 pm.
From Škurinje towards Orehovica it is closed every night from 10 pm till 5 am, while in the other direction traffic is proceeding freely.

Count with delays in the roadwork areas!

Roadworks in progress:
- on D2 state road Varaždin-Osijek - till December 17 there is a traffic ban on freight vehicles with more than 7,5 t or those longer than 14 m.
- on A 2 motorway Zagreb-Macelj, between the knots Krapina and Đurmanec in direction Macelj border crossing - only one lane is free.
- on A2 motorway Zagreb-Macelj, between the knots Jankomir and Zaprešic.
- on D1 state road - on the section A2 motorway Zagreb-Macelj - Macelj border crossing, till November 15.
- on the state road D 309 Samobor-Sveta Nedelja, which is closed for traffic till further notice.
Detour from direction Zagreb towards Samobor+ detour from direction Bregana towards Sveta Nedelja:
• A 3 motorway to Bobovica knot in direction Samobor/Sveta Nedjelja
• A 3 motorway to Sveta Nedelja knot-highway to Strmec Samoborski-Samobor.
- on D 42 state road Vrbovsko-Josipdol.
- on D 42 state road Hreljin-Sveti Petar (between Oštarije and Josipdol) till August 31.
- on Krk island: state road D102, between the places Njivice and Malinska.
- on Murter island: D 121 state road Tisno-Jezera.
- on D 33 state road Drniš-Pakovo Selo - closed till September 15 . Detour: Pakovo Selo-Kaocine-Drniš.
- on D 60 state road Lovrec-Imotski.

The bridge Tisno on Murter island closes for traffic for 30 minutes every day at 9 am and 5 pm till September 1.
